Reiser and Vemag have designed a variety of multi-outlet Waterwheel systems for all types of applications and production requirements. This product forming solution combines a Vemag Portioner with a multi-outlet Waterwheel flow divider attachment. It is the perfect solution for all types of cheese extruding applications requiring high-volume production. Use the Waterwheel to extrude multiple lanes of formed, portioned cheese products onto conveyors, onto make-up lines or into packaging. Ideal for use as a cheese stick portioner.

Vemag Portioner
At the heart of the system lies the Vemag Portioner. The Vemag features a powerful, positive displacement double-screw pump that provides the highest levels of portioning accuracy. The double-screw transports product extremely gently and without smearing. The Vemag is available in various models and hopper capacities to meet any production requirement.

Waterwheel Attachment
The Reiser-engineered multi-outlet Waterwheel attachment is a flow divider that connects to the Vemag Portioner. The Waterwheel divides the product flow into multiple lanes with equal portions from each outlet. Weight accuracy is guaranteed across each lane. It is the ideal solution for high-volume production. An integrated cutting system allows production at the highest speeds while separating products cleanly and evenly with no mess. The Waterwheel is capable of dividing the flow of product to any number of lanes, from as few as two lanes to upwards of 24 lanes.

The Waterwheel can be used to form and extrude multiple lanes of cheese portions, cheese sticks and planks, and unique cheese shapes. It can also be used to extrude cheese portions directly into omelets and other prepared foods.
